Lawrence Maas

MAAS, Lawrence David - Age 63, of Flint, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 31, 2015, which was also his birthday. A memorial service will be held 4:00PM Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint MI. There will be a dinner immediately following at Dom Polski of Flint at 3415 N Linden Road, Flint, MI 48504. Those desiring may make a contribution to either Alma Wolosonowich or Carnelita Maas. Lawrence was born October 31, 1952 in Flint the son of James and Carnelita Maas. Lawrence, or Larry as he preferred to be called, had a tremendous passion for both the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings. He was very loved within his Flint (Mayfair) neighborhood and was well known for teaching the kids the game of baseball. On any given day, you could catch Larry on his porch listening to music or a Detroit Tigers game. He had the biggest heart and will be extremely missed. Surviving are: Mother, Carnelita Maas, Sister, Alma (Robert) Wolosonowich, Brother William Maas; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Allen Maas.
