Lawrence Stephen LASZKO

LASZKO, Lawrence Stephen - Age 71, of Linden died Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, December 6, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Visitation will be held 12 - 1 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association. Mr. Laszko was born March 29, 1942 in Detroit, the son of Stanley and Stella (Pazcak) Laszko. Lawrence served in the U.S. Air Force in the 551st Strategic Missile Squadron. He worked at Consumers Energy for 33 years starting as a meter reader and working many years training service workers. He loved photography. He also played golf and enjoyed travel. Mr. Laszko is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, James (Roberta ) Laszko, David Laszko; step-children, Edith Wagner (David Forde), Robert Wildman; grandchildren, Sara Wagner, Justin Laszko, Dennis Hayden, Brandi Webb, Billy Jo Looney; brothers and sisters, Robert (Jeanne) Laszko, Christine Wallace, Michael Laszko; many nieces and nephews; best friend, Carl (Carol) Julius.
