Lawrence Elmer HAUT

Haut, Lawrence E. Age 87, died Saturday March 13, 2010. Memorial service will be held at 2PM Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2368 West Dodge Road, Clio, Terry Alvis officiating. Lawrence was born in Flint, Michigan on November 16, 1922. He began employment as an electrician in 1947. Lawrence married Velma Prowant on December 25, 1948. He was a member of the Davison Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed building electronics and was an amateur radio operator. He used much of his time volunteering in the construction and maintenance of Kingdom Halls. He retired from IBEW Local 948 in 1984. Surviving are wife, Velma; sister Ruth Haut of Lima, Peru; children, James (Mari) of Palmyra, Maine, David (Robin) and granddaughter Kenzie of Hopewell Junction, New York, Sherry (Norman) Jayne of Lapeer, Daniel (Darcy) of Fenton and granddaughter Jordan.
