GARRISON, Lawrence Henry 'Lornie' - age 60, of Fenton, has 'walked on' as the Native Americans say, to be with the Great Spirit and all of his loved ones who have walked on before him, especially his dad and mother, Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Crestmont Health Care Facility. Those who will walk on in the future to be with him are his children, Cynthia (Kenny) Truska, Sabrina Horle and Bryan (Martie) Garrison; his grandchildren, Joey and Jessica Bartels, Joel (Chippie) and Jennifer Truska, Cody and Chel'c Horle, Ryan and Lauren Garrison; siblings, Martha (Howard) Applebee, their children, Ralph and Jeff, Mary (Ed) Cook, their children, Marla, Julie and Cam, Sharon (Bill) Gay, their children, Karl and Steven, David Garrison and his children, Angie, Dawn and Bob and many other family members and friends, all of whom were dear to him. He will be missed so much by all who loved him and his sense of humor. He was born in Flint and lived most of his life in Fenton. He worked for G.M. Metal Fab for over 25 years. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Rev. Josh Hoover and Rev. Elizabeth Morris Downie officiating. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 7-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. We give our heartfelt thanks to our clergy who guided him on his spiritual journey, Crestmont Healthcare Center, Visiting Nurse's Hospice and everyone who loved him these past 11 1/2 years.
