GAGNE, Lawrence Harvey - Age 89, of Fenton, passed away September 11, 2020. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd., Howell. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Burial will take place Wednesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, with a rosary at 7 PM. Visitation will also be held from 10AM until the time of Mass Tuesday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to Capuchin Soup Kitchen, 1820 Mount Elliott Street Detroit, MI 48207. Lawrence was born July 29, 1931 in Ottawa, Canada, the son of Lawrence and Anastasia (McAlenden) Gagne. Lawrence was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp., serving in the Korean War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He retired from Detroit Edison. Surviving are: wife, Shirley; sons, Michael (Kia) Gagne and Andrew (Kim) Gagne; daughter-in-law, Nancy (Alan) Raven; grandchildren, Michele (Chris) Repass and Jakub Gagne; great-grandchildren, Monroe and Harvey Repass; sisters, Frances Gagne, Roberta (Ray) Kamm, Kitty (Mike) DeNeen, Bonnie (Paul) Crawley, and Joanne Lyons; brother, Ronald (Karen) Gagne; sister-in-law, Sue Gagne; many nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his son, David Gagne; sisters, Theresa and Lorna Gagne; brothers, Carl, Joseph and Roger Gagne; brother-in-law, Dick Lyons.
