Lawrence Burl Davis, Sr.

DAVIS, Lawrence Burl, Sr.  Age 61, of Moriarty, NM, formerly of Linden, died March 15, 2006. Funeral Services will be held 5 PM Monday, March 20, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, with military honors following under the auspices of V.F.W. Curtis Wolverton Post 3243 of Fenton. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Sunday, 11 AM until the time of the funeral at 5 PM Monday. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Davis worked as a truck driver. He had resided the past few years in New Mexico. He is formerly of Linden. Mr. Davis is survived by: wife Peggy and her family; son Lawrence Jr. and wife Patricia, and grandson Jacob, of Fenton; sisters and brothers, Alma Lewis, Rita Beschorner, Jim Thomas and wife Peggy, Marcia Allen, Elizabeth and husband Rick Kalis, Linda and husband Jim Simpson; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rex Davis and Lorene Thomas; and grandparents, Dewey and Alma Lawrence.
