LaVonne was born October 7, 1940 in Cadillac, the daughter of Carl and Reva (Loomis) Thompson. She married Harold R. "Rick" Vosburgh in Cadillac on June 27, 1964. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2018. LaVonne graduated from Cadillac High School and later from Western Michigan University. She was a Teacher at Fenton Middle School for many years. She and Rick enjoyed traveling, and wintering in Apache Junction, AZ. They also belonged to various Car Clubs.
LaVonne is survived by her sons, Ted Vosburgh and Jason (Thany) Vosburgh; granddaughters, Jacqueline, Katherine and Kess Vosburgh.
LaVonne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rick; brother, James Thompson; sister-in-law, Sharon Thompson. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
