Laverne "Jo" Traylor

Traylor, Laverne "Jo" - Age 96, of Grand Blanc, died November 25, 2021. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, November 29 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 3- 7 PM Sunday, November 28;  and 12 PM Monday November 29  until the time of the service. Burial will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 30 at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 N. Belford Rd. Holly.  Laverne was born February 4, 1925 in Grant, AL the daughter of Arthur and Molly (Burke) Ledbetter. She married William J. Taylor on March 13, 1948; he preceded her in death August 5, 1984. Laverne loved kids and cooking for others. She was a member of the Fenton Road Baptist Church. Laverne enjoyed all church activities, including Sunday School, working on funeral dinners and The Ladies Group. She is survived by her son, Billy (Linda) Traylor of Grand Blanc; granddaughter, Chandra (Tom) Storti of Fenton; great grandchildren, Riley and Victoria Stephenson of Fenton; brother, Billy Ledbetter; many nieces and nephews. Laverne was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Edward, Howard, Milford, Willard, and Eugene; sister, Burnice. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
