BUBEL Jr. Lavern "Sam" Samuel - Age 68, of Flint, died March 28, 2017. Visitation will be held 5PM-8PM Thursday, March 30 and 5PM-8PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Lavern was born January 28, 1949 in Port Huron, the son of Lavern Samuel and Evelyn (Tallman) Bubel Sr. He enjoyed go cart racing, modified racing, and fishing. Lavern proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his fiance: Amy Bowers of Grand Blanc; best friends: Don (Jerri) Gilbert of Grand Blanc; apple of his eye: Alex Gilbert; 6 sisters and many nieces and nephews.
