Laura Robbins

ROBBINS, Laura Sherife - Age 66, of Flint Township, died Friday, April 8, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service will be available on Laura's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Deacon Ron Kenney officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 PM.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Alpha One Foundation or the Hope Network.

Laura was born April 29, 1955 in Pleasanton, CA, the daughter of Donald and Joyce (Vincent) Williams.  She was a 1973 graduate of Willow Run High School; and she attended Baker College.  She married David Martin Robbins April 29, 2011 in Flint.  She had resided in the Flint area for the past 40 years coming from Ypsilanti.  Laura had worked for GM Truck and Bus for 20 years, H & R Block for 25 years, and Dawn Donuts.  She also owned and operated the Swartz Creek Bakery and Grandma Williams Kitchen in Swartz Creek.  She enjoyed cooking, fishing, puzzle games, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are: her husband, David; children, Denise Robbins of Flint, John Robbins of Burton, and Marcus Robbins of Flint; grandchildren, Evernt, Richard, Cole, and Rosalie; and niece and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kimberly Robbins; sister, Pamela Duncan; and brother, Donald Williams, Jr.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
