Laura Jean Carriere

CARRIERE: Laura Jean - Age 68, of Flushing, formerly of Fenton, passed away October 6, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Rev. David Owen officiating. A FOE Auxiliary Service will be held at 12:45 PM prior to the service. Visitation 11:00 AM until the time of service Sunday. Memorial Contributions would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society or to Adopt-A-Pet Fenton.

Laura was born July 11, 1956 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Glen W. and Carmen L. (Meineke) Hartmann. She married Benjamin J. Carriere in Sevierville, TN on July 23, 2007. She graduated from Foreman High School in Chicago. Laura was a homemaker who previously served as a caregiver and gardener. She was a wonderful wife and mom, and grandmother who deeply loved her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time outdoors.

Laura is survived by her husband, Ben; children, Traci Baisch, Heather Baisch, Carolyn (Chris) Billner, Cory (Danielle) Baisch; grandchildren, Lilly, Laurel; Rose, Savanna, C.J., and Gregory; sister, Donna Kalowski; brother, Randy (Cindy) Hartmann; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
