FRAY, Larry Joe  Age 65, of Lake Fenton, died Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, September 4, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd. Fenton, Pastor Dale Swihart will officiate. Military honors will follow under the auspices of Fenton V.F.W. Curtis-Wolverton Post #3243. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Thursday, 2-5 & 7-9 PM Friday. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held 7:30 PM Friday under the auspices of Fenton Lodge #109 F.&A.M. Those desiring may make contributions to the Drivers Transportation Unit of Elf Khurafeh or Genesys Hospice. Larry was born September 13, 1938 in Poplar Bluff, MO, the son of William Harvey and Edna Irene (Goin) Fray. He earned an Associates Degree in Business Management and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Northwood University. In 1992, Mr. Fray retired from General Motors S.P.O. with over 34 years of service. He was an active member of Fenton Lodge #109 F.&A.M, where he was a 32nd Degree Mason. He served as Past Master, Past President, Plaque Chairman, Ambassador. He also served as a driver in the Transportation Unit and was Past Director of the Tin Lizzie Unit. Mr. Fray was also a member of the Elf Khurafeh Shrine, Bay City Consistory and Fenton V.F.W. Curtis-Wolverton Post #3243. Surviving are: wife, Carol; children, Carrie Jensen, Greg Fray both of St. Clair Shores, Scott Fray of North Carolina; grandchildren, Collin and Jennie Tickner both of St. Clair Shores; step children, Diane Bice of Swartz Creek, Kathy Templeton of Branson, MO, Jim and wife Beth Spencer of Flint; step-grandson, Devin Spencer of Flint; brothers, Pete and wife JoAnn Fray of Detroit, Don and wife Sandy Fray of  Florida; sister, Ilene Qualls of Florida; uncle and aunt, Clyde and Pat Goin of Fenton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Russ and Pat Bergstrom of Morris, IL, John and Sharon Broner of Grand Blanc; mother-in-law, Irene and Merle Harkey of Flint; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
