Larry A. Williams, age 70, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. A Funeral Mass was held in private for the family. Larry was born on November 19, 1952, in Flint, Michigan to the late Russell & Mary Williams. He graduated from South Western High School in 1971 and continued his education at the University of Michigan and at Marygrove College where he earned his Master's Degree in education. Larry served in the U.S. National Guard from 1971 - 1973. He married Linda on April 26, 2011. Larry was employed with the Genesee Intermediate School District for over thirty-five years before retiring in 2011. He found much joy and satisfaction in teaching special education. His lifelong passion was music; he self-taught himself to play the keyboard, guitar, and the harmonica. Larry loved sports. He was a huge Michigan fan and enjoyed golf and hockey. He and Linda had many travels together of which his favorites were Key West, Yellowstone, Gettysburg, South Dakota, and New Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Patrick (Jennifer) Williams, Kelly (finance Joe) Williams, Candice Schmunk, Amber Schmunk and Miranda (Jason) Croucher; thirteen grandchildren, Briana, Dylan, Aiden, Cameron, Riley, Vinny, Cooper, Vito, Angelo, Vernon, Madison, Roman, Honor, Tony, and Jameson; great-grandson, Eric and three brothers, Phil (Debbie) Williams, Brad (Kathy) Williams and Russell (Sonja) Williams.
