Lane Longstreth

LONGSTRETH, Lane Curtis – Age 66, of Linden died Thursday, April 14, 2022.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton on Friday, April 22, 2022.  Family viewing 3:00p.m.- 4:00p.m. and public visitation 4:00p.m.- 8:00p.m.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Linden Presbyterian Church, 119 W. Broad St, Linden.  Family viewing begins 10:00 a.m. Pastor Dawn Russell officiating.  Burial will be held 1 PM Saturday, April 30, 2022 in Lakeside Cemetery, Holly.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Gift of Life Michigan. Lane was born August 15, 1955, in Flint, the son of Robert and Lorraine (Fraza) Longstreth.  He was raised in Holly, graduated from Holly High School in 1973, and earned degrees from Mott Community College and the University of Michigan.  Lane retired from Jervis B. Webb as the manager of Electrical Engineering.  Lane married his high school sweetheart, LuAnn Marie Truxton, on August 28, 1976, in Holly.  They welcomed a son, Adam, in 1977 and a daughter, Heather, in 1980.  Throughout his life, Lane enjoyed basketball, home improvement projects, and the outdoors.  He made cherished memories on family vacations and living on Loon Lake in Linden.  He was a member of Linden Presbyterian Church. Throughout his life, Lane was a devoted husband, father, and papa.  He took great pride in his family. They were his pride and joy.   Surviving are: his wife of 45 years, LuAnn; son, Adam (Jaime) Longstreth of Linden; daughter, Heather (Kenneth) Briggs of Linden; grandchildren, Kaylee, Kendall, Lynn, and Lane; siblings, Linda Longstreth of Fenton, Larry (Kathy) Longstreth of Coopersville, Leslie White of Fenton, and Lee (Brenda) Longstreth of Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.
