Lance Burke

Burke, Lance Christopher - Age 52, of Linden, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022.  Lance was born to the late Gail and Cecile Burke on October 18th, 1970 in Flint, Michigan.  He was the youngest of 17.  Lance was a 1988 graduate of Powers High School.   He proudly served in the United States Army.  Lance married the love of his life, Suzanne Pleshakov on May 8, 1999 and they have two beloved children Benny and Brynn.  Lance was a wonderful husband, an amazing father, brother, a loving uncle, and a friend to many.

Lance will be remembered as a man who cherished his family.  He was a hard-worker, an intellect, and had a passion for history.  Above all, Lance had a heart of gold and everyone who knew him felt his generosity.  His adoration for his family was immeasurable.  His wife Suzy and children, Benny and Brynn were his life.  Lance’s faith in Jesus brought him peace.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Suzanne, son, Benny; daughter, Brynn, many brothers and sisters, and father-in-law, Kristian Pleshakov.  Lance is further survived by a host of extended family and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Gail, Matt, Jamie, and Diane, brother-in-law Kris Jr., and mother-in-law Mary Pleshakov.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation 11:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Service Sunday.
