Lana Elaine Culpepper

Lana Elaine Culpepper, age 80, of Fenton, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. A memorial service will take place 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Graveside service will follow at Tyrone Memorial Gardens. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until the time of service Saturday. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. 

Lana was born on June 23, 1944 in Owosso, Michigan the daughter of the late, Darrell and Joyce (Case) Riddle. She graduated from Byron High School. Lana worked as a manicurist for many salons over the 20 years before her retirement in 2004. She loved her family dearly and and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, bird watching and most recently crossword puzzles. 

She is survived by her children, Joseph Janik, Jr., Kevin (Jeri) Janik, Kimberly (Jeff) Chandler, Patrick (Robin) Culpepper, Christine (Dave) Segers, and Kimberly Seer (Cindy); 7 grandchildren, Ryan, Jason, Melinda, Jeffrey, Alicia, Elizabeth, Daniel; 2 great- grandchildren, Tate and Myles; siblings, Connie Leedle, Clyde Riddle and Vicky Case; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Lana was preceded in death by her husband, Bertram; brothers, Darrell and Bill Riddle; and brothers-in-law, Kenneth Leedle and John Case. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
