Lana was born October 12, 1952 in Durand, the daughter of Richard and Eleanor (Meier) Cecil. She was a 1970 graduate of Byron High School. She married Larry Carl Arndt October 16, 1993 in Lake Tahoe, CA. She had resided in Byron her entire life. Lana enjoyed traveling and going to bible study.
Lana loved Jesus with all her heart. She not only followed Him but also led countless others to Him, planting the Word of God in the lives of so many. Her unwavering faith, radiant smile, and boundless energy lifted those around her, making every encounter with her a blessing.
She was a source of encouragement, always spreading positivity and uplifting those who needed it most. As a devoted mother to Larry's children, she unknowingly created life-changing impacts that will never be forgotten. Her love for Larry was a beautiful testament to their deep bond - more than partners, they were best friends who cherished their travels together, with Lake Tahoe as their special place of refuge and joy.
Lana cared deeply for everyone she met, and her family was always at the forefront of her life. She needed them just as much as they needed her. She was a gift from Jesus to us all - a living example of what it means to follow Him and His Word.
Though we will miss her earthly presence, we find peace in knowing she is home with our Father in Heaven. Lana's legacy of faith, love, and kindness will forever remain in our hearts.
