L. Olin Rikard

RIKARD, L. Olin, age 66, of Fenton, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at Avalon Hospice. A memorial service will be held 11AM Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd. Fenton. Rev. Audrey Charlton officiating. Visitation will begin at 10AM until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Avalon Hospice or American Cancer Society or The Lupus Foundation. Olin was born December 1, 1938 in Ridgley, TN the son of Luther and Elizabeth (Dean) Rikard. He married Linda Howcroft on April 11, 1969 in Plymouth. Olin retired from Compact Webcor after 22 years of service. Olin will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Linda; 4 children, Cindy Evans and husband Frank of Troy, TN, Tammi Conner and husband Scott of Westland, Sandy Sage and husband Mark of Linden, Stacie Rikard of Westland; 8 grandchildren, Lacy, Sarah, Clint, Chris, Caylie, Court! ney, Nick and Megan.
