L J Dunning

DUNNING, L.J. - Age 72, of Linden, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the family.

L.J. was born March 19, 1952 in Holly, the son of James Leo and Rita (Blumenschein) Dunning. He was a 1970 graduate of Holly High School; he attended Mott Community College. He married Deborah Ann Sprague June 9, 1990. L.J. retired from General Motors, Grand Blanc Plant after 37 years of service working in tool and die. He was a member of Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church, Fenton. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, bowling, traveling with his wife and in-laws, playing cards and watching sports.

Surviving are: his beloved wife of 34 years, Deborah; children, Jason Lee Dunning of Grand Blanc, Aimee (Kurt) Schauman of Canton and Kimberly (Tom) Bridges of Indianapolis, IN; devoted, proud grandfather of Miranda, Blake and Justin; siblings, Rick (Pat) Stier, Glenn (Tonyia) Kudej, Penny (Brian) Lynn and Terri (George) Lippens; several nieces and nephews; cherished cousins, Gloria Long, Marie Chisnell-Sanchez and Michael Peters. He had many other cousins; bonus daughter, Ella Richmond; his dog and cherished sidekick, Annmarie.
