BARKER, Kyle Richard -- Age 40 of Grand Blanc died Thursday, June 25, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Pastor Jason Crum officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 2-8PM on Monday, and from 10AM until the time of service Tuesday. Contributions may be made to the family, c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Kyle was born April 3, 1975 the son of Richard and Bethany (Rhoads) Barker in Flint. Kyle graduated from Kearsley High School in 1993, and worked as the manager of Family Dollar in Holly. He was a member of East Flint Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed playing softball on the E.F.N. softball team. He was an avid fan of Star Wars and was know for his sense of humor and quick wit. On August 22, 2014 Kyle and Melanie were married in Goodrich MI blending two families into one family of 7. The start of a journey no one could have predicted. Survived by wife Melanie, children; Andrew, Geoffrey, Regan, Lennon and Ryder, parents; Richard and Bethany Barker, siblings; Christy Barker and Scott Barker, niece Hannah, nephews; Ethan, Chase and Landon (L.B.), mother-in-law Barbara McMillin and father-in-law James McMillin.
