Kristina Lynn Mason

Kristina "Krissi" Lynn Mason, age 46, of Lennon, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Durand Senior Care and Rehabilitation after her long courageous battle with breast cancer. A funeral service will take place 12:00 PM, Friday, December 6, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Jim Nelson will preside with burial following at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until the time of service Friday. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Ryennes Rescue and Rehabilitation.

Krissi was born on August 24, 1978 in Flint, the daughter of Michael Mason and Debra Brooks. She worked in cosmetology as a hairdresser. Krissi enjoyed painting wine bottles, glasses and canvas. She was an advocate for stray cats working with Ryennes Rescue and Rehabilitation. In her free time, she liked to write poetry and gardening. Krissi was a bit of a diva. If you met her you would have never thought she was sick as she would never leave without her hair done, makeup ready and eye lashes on. Krissi would make friends with everyone she would meet. 

She is survived by her mother, Debra Brooks; sons, Tyler and Jacob; sister, April Mason; nieces and nephew, Madilynn, Ava and Christian Alcorn II; aunt, Cynthia (Leon) Brooks-Jones; and several friends and her three cats.
