Konrad Lake

LAKE, Konrad Dean- Age 84, of Flushing, died October 31, 2016. Private interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Foundation. Konrad was born October 12, 1932 in St. Ignace to Alvie and Florence (Simon) Lake. He married Lois Ann Martineau in St. Ignace on May 21, 1955. He had attended Mott College. He retired from Chevrolet Manufacturing in 1992 after 36 years as a skilled tradesman. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Konrad was a member of St. Robert Church in Flushing and St. Robert Men's Club. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and all sports. He is survived by his wife, Lois; children, William (Fran) Lake, Judy (Fred) Tenbusch, Randy (Tracy) Lake, Mary (Scott) Halpin, and John (Patty) Lake; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria Hanson.
