BOTH, Kirk Stephen - born January 14, 1955 in Flint, Michigan passed away Wednesday afternoon at the University of Michigan Hospital's cardiac care unit during surgery. Kirk was a lifelong resident of Flint MI. Early in his career he was a City of Flint police officer. Kirk had his own private investigating firm, Blue Moon Investigations. Later, he worked in the Detroit area installing security equipment and cameras. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth (Scottie) Both, and his father Stephen G. Both, of Grand Blanc, MI. He is survived by his sister Mary Both of Battle Creek, MI. Also surviving is his dear friend, whom he loved like a brother, Roger McDaniel of Ypsilanti MI. We are requesting in lieu of flowers any donations be made to the National Fallen Officers Memorial Fund or the Michigan Humane Society. Forms for both memorial donations will be available at the memorial service. A Celebration of Life memorial service for Kirk will be held 11 a.m. Saturday April 24th at Little Joe's Tavern, 11518 S Saginaw St, Grand Blanc. 810-694-8391.
