Kimberly Mahard

Mahard, Kimberly Ann - Age 68, of Flint, died January 4, 2023. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday, January 10 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 12:30 PM until the time of the service on Tuesday January 10. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Michigan Humane Society. Kimberly was born December 17, 1954 in Flint, the daughter of Thomas Hopper and Yvonne (Luplow) Buffa. She was a graduate of Clio High School. Kimberly attended Michigan State University and graduated from the University of Michigan. Most recently, Kimberly worked for the Hantz Group as a CPA. She loved the theatre, and it was through involvement in the Clio Cast and Crew and New Vic Theatre that she met her future husband, Tom Mahard. They were married on September 4, 1993. Kimberly was an avid genealogist and a loyal supporter of the Humane Society. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Mahard; daughter, Katy Mahard (fiance Joe Seibert) of Los Angeles, California; and a large extended family.
