KRAYSOVIC-SATKOWIAK, Kimberly Kay - age 45, of Burton, returned home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2008. She passed away at Hurley Medical Center after a long struggle with Crohn's Disease and its complications. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, January 10, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel with Pastor Paul Amstutz officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon. Visitation will be held 12-3 and 4-8 PM Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to Hurley Regional Medical Center Intensive Care Unit or Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. Kim was born July 14, 1962 in Owosso. The family moved to Gaines when Kim was four and still resided there. Kim graduated from Swartz Creek High School in 1980 and married Frank Satkowiak in 1981. There were two children from that union, Brian Satkowiak of Flint Twp., and Shanna (John) Satkowiak-Stier of Grand Blanc. Kim is survived by her children, Brian and Shanna (John); parents, Dave and Sharon Kraysovic; sister, Kelly (Ron) Stano of Commerce Twp. and nieces Brooke and Courtney Stano; brother, Rick (Stacie) Kraysovic of Swartz Creek and nieces, Jana and Rachel Kraysovic. She is also survived by, her aunt, Jean Buttler of Gaines; aunt and uncle, Fred and Kathy Caudell of Davison; many cousins; maternal grandmother, Frances Buttler of Durand; paternal grandfather, Steven Kraysovic of Grand Blanc. Kim was preceded in death by: her maternal grandfather, Cecil Buttler; paternal grandmother, Katherine Kraysovic; and her uncle, Richard Buttler. The family wants to offer special thanks to Kim's many friends at Hurley and all of their prayers and excellent care, including the emergency room and their nurses. Special thanks to Dr. Thomas, the nurses at Hurley 4th floor Intensive Care Unit, the pulmonary - respiratory unit, Kim's many doctors, and everyone involved in her care. Also a special thanks to her friends who gave remained by her side through her many years of illness. You are all so special and we love you!
