June 9, 1952 — October 30, 2019

AMON, Kim Stephen "Jake" - Age 67, of Marquette, died Wednesday, October 30, 2019.  Services will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  Deacon Rod Amon officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wedneday from 4 PM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of one's choice.

Jake was born June 9, 1952 in Flint, the son of Donald and Colleen (Gibbs) Amon.  He was a 1970 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and attended Northern Michigan University.  He had resided in Marquette for the past 49 years coming from Swartz Creek.  Jake was a automotive paint shop supplies salesman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball, golfing, and billiards.  He also was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Surviving are: his brother, Rod and wife Marcia Amon of Swartz Creek; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kristina Amon; sister, Sandra Curis.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
