CORNING, Kevin Reid - Age 53, of Fenton formerly of Flint, died Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the Freedom Center, 2473 W. Shiawassee Ave, Fenton. Pastor Jim Wiegand officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday at the church from 10:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contribution to Avalon Hospice or the Freedom Center. Kevin was born April 26, 1956 in Flint, the son of Max and Judy (Reid) Corning. He had resided in Fenton for the past 15 years, coming from Flint. Surviving are: 4 children, Rae Corning of Minnesota, Max Corning of Lansing, Faye and husband Carl Jones of Fenton, Melvin Corning of Fenton; 1 grandson, Carl Jones III; 2 sisters, Kelly Corning of Interlochen and Karen and husband Jeff Johnson of Washington State; mother of his children, Mary Foguth Smith of Fenton.
