Kerry Lynn WHALEN

WHALEN, Kerry Lynne (Hall) - Age 64, of Flint, died peacefully December 13, 2013 surrounded by her children after a courageous 5 year battle with Cancer. Private family services have been held. Kerry was born October 5, 1949 in Flint the daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Flynn) Hall. She was a graduate of Flint Central high School, Interlochen and U of M. She retired from the Flint Police Department in 1986. She enjoyed fixing up homes, the piano, camping, reading, and most importantly her family. Surviving are four children, Jennifer (Eric) Williams of Flint, Anne (Patrick) Johnson of Swartz Creek, Lee Whalen of Boston, MA, Steven Whalen of Flint; four grandchildren, Jessica, Keegan, Siri, and Chloe; sister Susan Smith of Flint. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family extends a special Thanks to the physicians and staff at the McLaren Cancer Institute for their extra special care and compassion.
