BRABON, Kern Michael 'Mike' - Age 51, of Linden, died Saturday, August 5, 2006 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 1:30PM Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 7-9PM Monday, 1-4 and 6-9PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mike was born in Flint on February 18, 1955 the son of Currin Lewis and Joan Louise (Groom) Brabon. He had been a resident of the Linden area all of his life. He married Patricia Louise Giffen on March 6, 1996 in Las Vegas. Surviving are his wife, Patricia 'Patty'; daughter, Angela Brabon of Flint; 2 sons, Richard Makela of West Branch and Craig Makela of Linden; 5 grandchildren, Elesia, Samantha, Andrew, Richard and Makenzie; 4 sisters, Kendra, Kathy, Karla (Wayne) and Karen (Dan); brother, Kent; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. 'Ride to Live - Live to Ride'.
