FLIPPO, Kermit Bernard "Red", age 76, of Flint passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 at his residence. Graveside services will be held 2:30 PM Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Mr. Flippo was born September 28, 1934 in Hayleyville, AL, the son of Clifford and Stella (Burnett) Flippo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Jane Beasley January 23, 2010 in Flint. Mr. Flippo retired from the Sheet Metal Workers Inernational Association, Local Union #7. He was a member of the Grand Blanc Moose Lodge #2344. Surviving are: wife, Jane; 2 step daughters, Carol Rogers of Grand Blanc and Deborah Marler of Dayton, TN; 3 step grandchildren, Al (Kristen) Rogers of St. Charles, Becky Rogers and fiance Jimmy Howe of Clio and Bradley (Nicole) Marler of Dayton, TN; 4 step great grandchildren, Emily Rogers, Nicholas Marler, Elaina Johnson and A.J. "Bubba" Rogers; nephew, Michael Walker of Flint; several other nieces and nephews; special neighbor grandkids, Alexis, Gabe, and Parker.
