Kenneth Edward "Ken" Rodenbo

RODENBO, Kenneth Edward "Ken" - Age 70, of Linden, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023.  Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (A live stream of the service will be available on Ken's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Pastor Mark Cox officiating. Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Ken was born June 7, 1953 in Holly, the son of Edward and Charlotte (Zoll) Rodenbo.  He was a 1971 graduate of Fenton High School.  He married Konnie Lee Cook December 29, 1972 in Fenton. He retired in 2000 from the U.S. Marine Corp as a Master Gunnery Sergeant after serving 28 years and was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War.  Ken was a member of the Fenton V.F.W. Curtis-Wolverton Post #3243, where he served as past commander twice, member of the Honor Guard and was a Cootie.  He also was a member of the Fenton American Legion Post #38. He was a volunteer for Adopt-A-Pet in Fenton and a bingo volunteer at the Aleda Lutz VA Hospital in Saginaw.  He enjoyed playing Free Cell Solitaire, collecting M & M paraphernalia, and riding his motorcycle.

Surviving are: his wife, Konnie; sons, Kevin (Christie) Rodenbo of Brighton and Kyle (Kelli) Rodenbo of Holly; grandchildren, Ava, Kobe and Kaden Rodenbo; siblings, John Rodenbo of Holly, Ann (Jeff) Jones of Vassar, Karen (Doug) Tucker of Davison and Mark Rodenbo; and several nieces and nephews.
