Kenneth Tinnin

TINNIN, Kenneth LeRoy- Age 69, of Burton, died Wednesday November 16, 2016. Funeral service will be held 11:30AM Tuesday November 22, at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint, Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 1-8PM Monday and from 10 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make donations to Flint Car and Truck. Kenneth was born May 31, 1947 in Flint, the son of Everett Hugh and Ruth Lida (Jones) Tinnin. He married Laurie Lynn (Hammock) on September 26, 1980 in Toledo, Ohio. Kenneth was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in Vietnam. He worked for the Genesee County Sheriffs Department for ten years. Kenneth sold cars for various dealerships, and also worked for GM in Lake Orion. He is survived by his wife: Laurie; children: Jennifer Sophia Tinnin (Ryan Kilburn), Jason Daniel (Shana) Tinnin, Kenneth LeRoy Tinnin Jr. (Melody Garrow); step-son, Jeff Childers; grandchildren: Mason, Avery, Zachary; six sisters: Cynthia Tinnin, Nancy (Jim) Kardos, Bonnie (Dave) Crossnoe, Linda Tinnin, Marlene (Mark) DelVecchio, Darlene Tinnin- Ryan (Bill Walker); cousin and brother, Larry Tinnin; many loving cousins; nieces and nephews; and friends.
