Kenneth E. Snell

SNELL, Kenneth E.  Age 91, of Flint, went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2005 at Clarkston Specialty Care. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, July 28, 2005 at Swartz Creek Church of Christ, 4410 Seymour Rd., Swartz Creek with Mr. Bill Maguffee officiating. Interment will follow at Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Tuesday and 2-5 and 7-9 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Swartz Creek Church of Christ. Mr. Snell was born May 5, 1914 in Lennon, MI, the son of Wilbur B. and Flossie Jane (Brockway) Snell. He married Evelyn Cobleigh December 18, 1933. Mr. Snell retired from General Motors as an inspector in 1979. He was an active member of Swartz Creek Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening and fishing. Surviving are: wife of 72 years, Evelyn; three children, Norma Snell of Flint, Ray (Bobbie) Snell of Burton, Delores (Dallas) Cathey of Swartz Creek; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Onalee (Jack) Warland of Swartz Creek; brother, John (Leila) Snell of Durand; several nieces and nephews.
