SEGER, Kenneth James - Age 84, of Fenton, died Saturday, December 12, 2020. Private services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (Live Streaming of the service can be viewed on Kenneth's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Kenneth was born January 25, 1936 in Fenton, the son of Raymond and Clara (Rosier) Seger. He was a 1954 graduate of Fenton High School and he received an Associates Degree from Flint Junior College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He married Donna Jean McGraw March 15, 1958 in Laingsburg. Kenneth retired from GM Fisher Body Grand Blanc Tank Plant after 30 years of service. He was also the author of a book about Fenton entitled "Once over lightly" and a postcard book of the history of Fenton he co-wrote with his wife, Donna. He was also inducted into the Fenton High School Hall of Fame in 2012. He was a member and president of the Fenton Historical Society for over 40 years. Kenneth also was a member of the Sons of the Union Veterans. He and his wife, Donna were the Grand Marshall's of the 2010 Freedom Festival. He had a love of history, Fenton, and gardening.
Surviving are: his wife of 62 years, Donna; daughters, Jennifer Allan (Mike) of Fenton, Donna Bila (Ron) of Beaverton, and Stacey Allen (Joe) of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Joshua Allan (Liz) of Fenton, Jacob Allan (Heather Tokoph) of Fenton, Jessica Eisenbeis Mott (Peter) of Chicago, IL, Hillary Eisenbeis of Farmington Hills, Jimmy Allen of Grand Blanc, Kenny Allen of Grand Blanc, and Hannah Allen (Ryan Pedersen) of Columbia, MO; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Morey (Ron) of Fenton, Kay Biskner (Randy) of Fenton, and Marjorie Ondo of Fenton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and aunt, Emelia "Topsy" Peddicord. Tribute may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
