Kenneth Schweinsberg

SCHWEINSBERG, Kenneth Lee, 88, of Flint, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022. Ken's wake will be at the ISPANS Club, 3305 Hilton Rd Ferndale, MI 48220 at 5:30 p.m. this Friday, March 18th. Ken was born September 15, 1933 in Bay City, MI the son of Lloyd W. and Doris G. (Gilkey) Schweinsburg. He was a graduate of Bay City Handy High School. He was a Pipefitter working at General Motors for over 33 years, retiring in 1998. He was an active member of the UAW Local 659. He married Sheila Anne Mitchell on October 11, 1980 in Linden. Ken loved his family and was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren and he had a special love for his cat, Sofi. He was an avid golfer and a fan of MSU. He worked hard and loved taking care of his yard.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sheila Anne Schweinsberg of Fowlerville; five children, Greg Schweinsberg, Brad Schweinsberg, Amy Schweinsberg, Donald Johnson and Sandi Johnson; many grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; and his siblings.
