Kenneth J. Robinson

ROBINSON, Kenneth Joseph, age 47, of Flint, went home to be with the Lord September 20, 2008. A Memorial Service will be 11AM Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Bethel Assembly of God, 6029 Lapeer Rd., Burton. Pastor Craig Owens officiating. The family will receive friends 10:30AM Tuesday until time of service at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Kenneth was born August 16, 1961 in San Gabriel, California the son of Robert and Patricia Ann (Roberts) Robinson. He was a 1980 graduate of Central High School where he was talented athlete especially in baseball, achieving all-state recognition. Kenneth was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in Japan, Korea, Philippines and Australia. He always found time to help others and had traveled to Jamaica for missionary work. You knew when Ken was around because he was a constant whistler. More than anything, he was a great Dad, who loved his daughter. Surviving are his daughter, Natalie of Swartz Creek; parents, Robert and Patricia Robinson of Flint; 8 siblings, Sharon Kline (Bob), Linda Yelle, Mary Robinson, Gerald Robinson (Kathryn), Donna Harris (John), Nancy Cahill (Bob), Carol Loudermilk (Jack), Barbara Durant (Mark); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Joyce Rose Robinson. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp.
