Kenneth Eugene "Ken" Pool

POOL, Kenneth Eugene "Ken" - Age 61, of Linden, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed directly below his obituary here). Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 2 PM until the time of the service. Ken was born March 21, 1963 in Garden City, the son of Earl Franklin and Mary Alice (Amos) Pool. He was a 1981 graduate of Linden High School; and he received a Bachelor's Degree in Science from Eastern Michigan University. He married Cheryl Leigh Hawkins July 12, 1986 in Linden. He had resided in Linden since 1974. Ken had been employed by Hewitt Parkard (EDS) for 20 years as the Senior Systems Engineer. He was a lead singer in his band, Wild Fire. He enjoyed attending Comicon Events and collecting Funko figurines. 

Surviving are: his wife, Cheryl; sons, Teagan Pool and Dalton Pool both of Linden; grandchildren, Declan, Emarie and Maverick Pool; nephews, James Bader, Anthony George and Rashard Ingram; and several cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mary Pool; son, Alexander Pool; and sister, Beth Bader. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
