Plater, Kenneth Alan - Age 75, of Swartz Creek, died July 16, 2020. Services will be held 12PM Wednesday, August 5 at Hill Creek Church 5363 Hill Rd. Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 11AM Wednesday until the time of the service. Private service at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd. Holly. Arrangements handled by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Kenneth was born February 19, 1945 in Detroit, the son of Charles and Lucy (McLeod) Plater. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Kenneth retired from Ford Motor Company. He is survived by his 6 children: Donna (Ronnie) Nowicki of Livonia, Laura (Steve) Campbell of Cookeville, TN., Ken Jr. Plater of Swartz Creek, Jacqueline (Richard) Samwell of Brownstown, Mi., Jennifer (Tony) DeGiorgio of Howell, Andrew (Nicole) Plater of Wixom; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Plater; many nieces and nephews.
