Kenneth Ogles, Jr.

Ogles, Kenneth Lyle Jr., -- Age 65, of Flushing, Michigan, died August 11, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, August 18 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek. (A livestream service will be available on Kenneth's webpage at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com) Interment at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday, August 17; and from 10 AM Thursday August 18 until the time of the service.

Kenneth was born in Jonesboro Arkansas on November 21st, 1956 to Helen & Kenneth Ogles Sr. He graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1974 where he met the love of his life, Debra (Peterson). They were married in 1979. He worked for General Motors for 36 years as a machine repairman/skilled tradesman and was a member of the U.A.W. Retirees Local 599. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time in the great outdoors. Kenneth was a loving father to his daughter Kendra and his son Aaron.

Surviving him are: his wife, Debra; children, Kendra Ogles and Aaron Ogles; and sisters, Christy Ogles-Campbell and Shirley (Mike) Hinton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen & Kenneth Ogles, Sr.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Marsha from Visiting Angels, McLaren Hospice, and special friends  Pete & Merrie Raab and Gay Percy for their support, kindness, and love during his illnesses.
