Kenneth Kreger

Kreger, Kenneth Carl - Age 78, of Flint, died November 4, 2020 after a brief illness. Funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Tuesday, November 10 at St. Matthews Catholic Church 706 Beach St. Flint. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Kenneth was born August 7, 1942 in Flint, the son of Bernice (Litzner) and LaVere Kreger. He graduated from St. Michael's High School in 1960. Kenneth received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan-Flint in psychology. His graduate studies were completed at The University of Illinois, The University of Wisconsin and Michigan State University. Kenneth was a practicing psychotherapist and administrator at many clinics in the Flint area, lastly at Auburn Counseling Associates. He was on the faculty at the University of Michigan-Flint for twenty years teaching psychology courses. Kenneth was a founding member at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and later for many years a member at St. Matthew's Catholic Church. He is survived by his partner of 46 years, Timothy Morgan; sister, Nancy Kreger-Aills and husband Dr. Tom Aills; niece, Rachel (Jack) LaCross Cutler; great niece, Emma Cutler. Kenneth is also survived by the Morgan family. The family would like to thank Alora Caring Hospice, especially Kelly, Chris, Suzanne and Ryan for their compassionate care. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dolores Kreger LaCross; grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
