GEORGE, Kenneth Joseph - Age 89, of Flint Township/Flushing, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 Cherry St., Flushing with Fr. Anthony Brooks celebrant. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Kenneth was born June 12, 1928 in Flint, the son of Joseph Raymond and Thelma Mary (Beaubien) George. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War and retired from General Motors. Surviving are: brother, Raymond (Patricia) George of AZ; two sisters-in-law, Sandra George and Mary Ann George, both of Flushing; many nieces and nephews.
