ELLIS, Kenneth Thomas - Age 74, of Fenton, died October 15, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, October 18, 2013 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St., Fenton, with Rev. William Donahue officiating. Visitation will be held 2-5 & 6-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 10 AM until the time of service Friday at church. Those desiring may make contributions to Fenton United Methodist Church. Ken was born August 22, 1939 in Detroit, the son of Orville James and Florence Margaret (Little) Ellis. He was married to Carolyn S. Adams on May 5, 1962 in Detroit. Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an active member of Fenton United Methodist Church and was a volunteer for Upward Basketball. He enjoyed fishing, boating, waterskiing and gardening. Ken was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are: wife, Carolyn; daughters, Susan (Leo) McManimon, Linda Minick, Sally (Derek) Nelson; grandchildren, Megan (Matt), Kenny, Holly, Shelby, Rachel, Michael, Sara, Connor, Jessica; brother, Alvin.
