CAMERON, Kenneth John -- of Lapeer, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Genesys Health Park, Grand Blanc, after a long illness. He was born December 26, 1942 in Highland Park, MI, to Kenneth Nicholas and Margaret Elizabeth (Bulhwer) Cameron. He married Jeannette Kovatch April 4, 1964 in Lake Port, MI. He is survived by: his wife of 43 years, Jeannette; daughter, Kimberly (Cameron) Leclercq; sons, Kenneth (Kip) and wife, Amy Cameron, Keith Cameron and fiancee Tracy Layman; his pride and joy were his grandchildren, Cheyenne Weir, Skyler Cameron, Cayden Leclercq, and Baylei Cameron; step-grandchildren, Jyssica, Justin, and Joshua Weir of Redford, MI; brother-in-law, Frank (Rhea) Kovatch of Indiana; nephews, Paul, Kyle, and Sean Kovatch. He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Peter and Julia Kovatch; and brothers-in-law, Ron and Tim Kovatch. Ken retired from Pontiac Motors in 1992. He served 15 years on Elba Township's Fire Department. During the past 12 years you may have seen his wife and him set up at local craft shows which they also enjoyed in Florida during the winter months. He loved keeping in contact with his many internet friends with a joke or a laugh. Arrangements are immediate cremation without services.
