Kenneth Harold Arneson

ARNESON, Kenneth Harold - Age 72, of Oscoda, died Thursday, September 9, 2004 at his residence.  Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Monday, September 13, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Rev. Ernest W. Hautala, Jr. officiating, and where a military service will be held under the auspices of Fenton VFW Curtis-Wolverton Post 3243.  Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris.  Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home, and from 12 noon until time of service on Monday.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Tawas St. Joseph Hospice or Kenneth H. Arneson Memorial Fund.  Kenneth was born June 7, 1932 in Flint, the son of Kenneth 'Carl' and Ester (Miller) Arneson.  He married Jean L. Smith September 1, 1977 in Durand.  Kenneth worked 37 years at GM Metal Fab Division, retiring in 1991.  He served in the United States Army from July 15, 1950 to July 16, 1953.  Surviving are: wife, Jean; 2 children, LuEtta Arneson, David (Liz) Arneson; grandson, Nicholas Arneson, all of Flint; 2 sisters Lilah Crowl of Oscoda, Alberta (James) Waller of Linden; stepchildren, Rex Smith of Atlanta, MI, Kevin (Debra) Smith of Philadelphia, PA; Isaac Smith III, Holly (Frank) Weaver of Glenmore, PA, Claudia (Alan) Pettis of Gaylord, Mary (David) Bradley of Fenton; 10 step grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  Friends may share their online condolences at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
