Kenneth Jerome ADAMS

ADAMS, Kenneth Jerome - age 74, of Linden, died Saturday, February 28, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden with Rev. Donald Neuville officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Gaines. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Tuesday. Kenneth was born November 3, 1934 in Flint, the son of Homer Phillip and Margaret (Rouleau) Adams. He was a graduate of Linden High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Adams retired from General Motors as a Millwright in 2007 after 45 years of service. He enjoyed walking, golfing, fishing and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Mr. Adams had an unconditional love and devotion to his children and especially to his grandchildren. Surviving are: wife, Sandra; two children, Kenneth Adams, Jr. and wife, Shelly of Gaines, Cynthia and husband, Eric Cracium of Rochester Hills; four grandchildren, Jessica, Tyler, Kristen and Colin; one great-grandchild, Jackson; brother, William Adams and wife, Eloise; sister, Joyce and husband, Herb Jacques; sister-in-law, Celia Adams; many nieces and nephews. His parents and four brothers, Homer, Dick, Don and Pete Adams and his father-in-law, Max E. Dolehanty preceded him in death.
