Kenmore D. Elberling

ELBERLING, Kenmore D. - Age 78, of Fenton, died Saturday, May 22, 2004 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, with Rev. Laura Kelsey and Rev. Donald Neuville officiating. Burial will follow in Tyrone Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 1-9 PM Tuesday and from 10 AM until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Tyrone Community Presbyterian Church. Kenmore was born July 21, 1925 in Ashby, MN, the son of Carl and Gina (Vium) Elberling. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII. Mr. Elberling had been a resident of Fenton since 1956. In 1980, he retired from G.M. Proving Grounds in Milford after 28  years of service. He was a member of Tyrone Community Presbyterian Church and the American Legion in Ashby, MN. Surviving are: wife, Dora; children, David and wife Janet Elberling of Livonia, Cindy and husband James Dougherty of Linden; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild; brother, Kenneth Elberling of Ashby, MN.
