Ken Atkin

ATKIN, Ken -  Age 57, of Grand Blanc Township passed away on July 13th at home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St. with Fr. Thomas Firestone celebrant. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-3 and 5-8PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Ken was employed at the GM Flint Metal Fabricating Plant for over 35 years, most recently as a crane operator. He was the winner of many GM suggestion awards. Ken enjoyed nice cars, NASCAR races, fishing, Harleys and working out. He is survived by his mother Arlene Kocsis (Charles Rachor), his sisters Mary Louise "Lou" Credeur (Darrell) and Linda McKimmie, his brother Emery "Jim" Kocsis (Cindy) , nieces Meghan McKimmie  and Natalie Kocsis, nephews Beau and Wyatt Credeur and Ben Kocsis. His cousins are Janice Dimock, Judy Johnson, Barbara Sobey and Dave, Dan, Paul and Gary Martin, Kathy Lowry, Julie Link and Rebecca Thiel. His father Norman Atkin predeceased him.
