Keenan Delroy BORG

BORG, Keenan Delroy -- Age 83, of Linden, died December 23, 2009 at his residence. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, December 28, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 5-8 PM, Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM, and Monday from 11 AM until time of service. A V.F.W. Memorial service will be held 7 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to V.F.W. Post 3243 or the Argentine Care Center. Mr. Borg was born May 3, 1926 in Flint the son of John Charles and Edith C. Borg. He had resided in Linden the past 35 years coming from Flint. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. He married Helen V. Richards on September 5, 1944 in Flint; she preceded him in death August 14, 2009. Mr. Borg retired from Dinsmore Instrument Company with over 30 years of service. He was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 3243 Fenton, and a member of the Eagles Aerie #2460 Fenton. He enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, birds, and living on the lake. Surviving are: five children, Keenan Leslie and wife Ann Borg of Fenton, John Charles and wife Georgiana Borg of Flint, Ellen Victoria and husband Dean Stevenson of Linden, Carolyn Ann and husband John Mailhot of Clio, Lynell Marie and husband Mark Hochkins of Linden; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister Bev and husband Claude Knapp of Davison.
