Kayleen Mathews

Kayleen Ann (Kennedy) Mathews -- Age 64, of Flint Township passed away May 30, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family. Services will be held 12 PM Saturday, June 9 at Sharp Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of service on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County. Kay was a dog lover, and a care provider for her special friend, Mrs. Helene Foster whom she admired and loved. Kay was a lifelong resident of Flint, Michigan, graduated from Bentley High School. She retired from Buick (GM) and was a member of UAW Local 599. She lived her life with joy, care and compassion. Kayleen brought humor and love to the lives of everyone she cared for and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her Husband of 35 years, Larry; sons Josh & (Jill) Mathews, Justin & (Amy) Mathews; granddaughters Elowen, Piper and Lyra; sisters Debbie & (Bill) Ream, Melinda & (Gregg) Castle, Angie & (Kim) Rush, as well as many nieces and nephews.
