Kaygie Goggins

GOGGINS, Kaygie Parker - Age 64, of Flint, died February 12, 2015. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:30 PM Monday, February 16, at St. Pius X Catholic Church. G-3139 Hogarth Ave., Flint, Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Visitation will be held 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, where a vigil service will be held at 7 PM Sunday. Visitation will also be from 11:30 until time of service at the church on Monday. Burial will be 12:30 PM Tuesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the Hospice House of Shiawassee County or Catholic Charities Kaygie was born Karen Grace Worthington on December 14, 1950 in Jackson, the daughter of Howard Sidney and Vivian I. (Ball) Worthington. She married Edward Goggins on August 5, 1985 in Flint. Kaygie worked as an event planner and fundraiser for several non-profit organizations. Surviving are: husband, Ed; daughter, Kaitlin; mother, Vivian Johnson; brothers, Sidney (Lezlee) Worthington and Bruce Worthington of Lansing; sister, Jane Worthington of Lansing; several nieces and nephews.
